Zonta Club of Charles County
Zonta International is a
worldwide service organization of executives in business and the
professions working together to advance the status of women with
nearly 33,000 members in more that 1200 clubs in 67 counties and
geographic areas.
Zonta International
seeks to:
- Provide service
at the global and local level;
- Improve the
legal, political, economic,educational,health and professional
status of women;
- Work for the
advancement of understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world
fellowship of executives in business and the professions;
- Promote justice
and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms
- Be united internationally
to foster high ethical standards, implement service programs,
and provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve
their
communities, their nations, and the universe.
Zonta
International's dedicated members passionately pursue these objectives.
Zontians volunteer their time, talents and energy to local and international
service programs and projects aimed at advancing the status of women
